
My Background
Christopher Figueroa is a glass artist specializing in soft glass and lost wax casting with ten years of experience as an artisan, assistant, and teacher. His sculptural work evokes strong personal narratives drawn from his upbringing in a family involved in the LA street gang culture. Many of his pieces incorporate vibrant tag-like symbols drawn with hot glass, hand-engraved inscriptions and imagery, and sculpted hands and figures
